Usage of air respirator

① Pre use inspection

1. Turn on the air cylinder switch, and the storage pressure in the cylinder is generally 25 to 30MPa. With the increase of the pressure in the pipeline and the decompression system, the residual pressure alarm will be heard.

2. Close the cylinder valve and observe the change of the pressure gauge reading. Within 5 minutes, the pressure gauge reading should not drop more than 2 MPa, indicating that the high pressure air tightness of the supply pipe system is good. Otherwise, check the air tightness of each joint.3. Through the lever of the supply valve, gently press the diaphragm group of the supply valve to slowly discharge the air in the pipeline. When the pressure drops to 4~6MPa, the residual pressure alarm shall give an alarm sound and sound continuously until the indicated value of the pressure gauge is close to zero. Otherwise, the alarm shall be calibrated again.

4. Check whether the pressure gauge is damaged and whether its connection is firm.

5. Whether the medium pressure pipe is aged, cracked, leaking, and firmly connected with the supply valve, quick connector and pressure reducer.

6. Check whether the action of the supply valve is flexible, whether there are missing parts, whether the connection between it and the medium pressure pipe is firm and whether it is damaged. Whether the supply valve and exhalation valve are matched. Take the exhaler, open the cylinder switch, and press the supply valve lever to make it work. When aspirating, the supply valve shall supply air with obvious "hissing" sound. When you exhale or hold your breath, the supply valve stops supplying air, and there is no "hissing" sound, indicating a good match. If the supply valve still supplies air when exhaling or holding, a "hissing" sound can be heard, indicating that it is not matched. The ventilation resistance of the positive type air exhalation valve should be verified, or the full face shield should be replaced to make it meet the matching requirements.

7. Check whether the lens, ribbon, annular seal, exhalation valve and suction valve of the full face shield are in good condition, whether there are missing parts and whether the connection position of the supply valve is correct and whether the connection is firm. The lens and other parts of the full face shield shall be clean, bright and free of dirt. Check whether the full mask fits the face well and is airtight. The method is: turn off the air bottle switch, suck deeply several times, and suck up the remaining gas in the air respirator pipeline system. Keep negative pressure in the full mask. The full mask should move towards the human face under the action of atmospheric pressure, and it is difficult to breathe, which proves that the full mask and exhalation valve have good air tightness.

8. Check whether the connection between the air cylinder and the pressure reducer is firm and whether the air tight type is in good condition. Whether the straps and waistbands are in good condition and whether there are cracks.

② Wearing method

1. When wearing, first disconnect the quick connector (to prevent damage to the full face shield during wearing), then support the back of the human body (the air bottle switch is below), adjust the shoulder belt and waist belt according to the figure and fasten them to make them fit, secure and comfortable.

2. Put the long tie on the full mask on your neck, and place the front full mask on your chest for easy wearing, and then connect the quick connector.

3. Turn the change-over switch of the supply valve to the closed position and turn on the air cylinder switch.

4. Wear a full face mask (bandage is not required) and take 2 to 3 deep breaths. It should feel comfortable. When holding or exhaling, the supply valve shall stop supplying air without "hissing" sound. Press the lever of the supply valve by hand to check whether it can be opened or closed flexibly. When everything is normal, tighten the bandage of the full face shield to ensure air tightness, comfort and no obvious tenderness.

5. After leaving the site and arriving at a safe place, loosen the harness clip of the full face shield and take off the full face shield.

6. Turn off the gas cylinder switch, open the supply valve, unplug the quick connector and remove the respirator from the body
